Emine Işık Beton
Director of Education
Emine Işık Beton graduated from English College (Turkish Maarif College) and completed her undergraduate studies in Social Studies at Middle East Technical University. She earned her master's degree from the Department of Economics at Eastern Mediterranean University. She began her professional career as a teacher at Turkish Maarif College in 1975 and became the vice principal in 1988 and the principal in 1993. In 2001, she served as the Director of General Secondary Education at the Ministry of National Education and Culture. Since 2008, she has been a part of the Levent Schools family and continues her work there.
Beton has attended Management and Communication training programs in the United States through the CASP scholarship and has participated in numerous international conferences. She has also played a leading role in the accreditation process of Levent Schools by the European Council of International Schools (ECIS) and the establishment of the "Student Monitoring and Evaluation System (PİDS)," an automation system. Emine Beton leads the efforts to ensure the coherence among Levent Kindergarten, Primary, and College education programs.
