Serkan Biran

Asst. Head Teacher

After graduating from Lefkoşa Türk Lisesi, Serkan Biran completed his studies at Gazi University Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Education. He began his professional career in 1998 as a physical education teacher at Levent Schools, which was established that year, teaching at the Kindergarten, Primary School, and College levels. Biran took on the role of Head of the Art and Sports Department and in 2008, he became the Asst. Head Teacher, later assuming the position of Asst. Head Teacher of Administrative Affairs in 2022.

In addition to teaching physical education classes, Biran also coaches swimming and athletics within the school. He has prepared folkloric dance, and gymnastics routines at the Kindergarten, Primary School, and College levels. The basketball, swimming, and athletics teams he coached have participated in several inter-school championships organized by the Ministry, earning the opportunity to compete in semi-finals and finals in Turkey and achieving successful results. Biran has also established sister school relationships with Üsküdar American High School and Bilkent College. He has shared his expertise by teaching physical education and folk dance classes to students studying early childhood education at the International Cyprus University.
