Esra Özdamar Başaran
Asst. Head Teacher
Esra Özdamar Başaran graduated from Turkish Maarif College and continued her education at the Biology Department of Ankara University's Faculty of Science. She started her career in 2004 as a science teacher in lower secondary school at Levent College. In subsequent years, she taught IGCSE Biology and Biology A Level courses to secondary school students. In 2019, she was appointed as the Head of the Science Department. Since 2022, she has been serving as the Asst. Head Teacher of Academic Affairs.
Başaran has acquired knowledge about various age groups and gained experience in applying specialized teaching techniques for each group. She has also attended courses organized by international examination platforms and acquired knowledge about international examination systems and teaching techniques. She was selected for the "21st Century Educational Leaders (IVLP)" program by the American Embassy in Cyprus and had the opportunity to visit schools and civil society organizations in five different states in the United States to examine their structures firsthand.
