Vision and Goals
Our VisionLevent College is committed to providing its students with high-quality education by providing Economics IGCSE (10), AS (11) and A- levels (12). Our goal is to prepare students for academic success while instilling a sense of responsibility towards the environment and promoting diversity. In Economics lessons, Levent College aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of economic theories, concepts, and methods. Our vision is to equip students to analyze economic issues and make informed decisions, developing critical thinking skills and promoting independent research. Social sciences department which Economics lessons are a part of shares the same vision by providing a broad education that prepares students for future success.
Our Goals
Our department aims to provide an enriching learning environment that focuses on academic excellence, student-centered learning, and staff development. We are committed to helping students establish a solid foundation in economic principles and preparing them for public examinations. We also emphasize the importance of creating a sense of responsibility towards the environment and promoting diversity.
We believe that students need to be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values required to understand and analyze economic issues such as inflation, unemployment, and globalization. To achieve this, we have specific learning goals for students, such as using appropriate terminology, understanding concepts and methods, and evaluating data.
To support staff development, we encourage a culture of collaboration and teamwork and provide sufficient resources for teaching and learning.
