Physics
Vision and Goals
Physics is an important science that helps us understand the world we live in, as well as the universe it is a part of. It is also considered the foundation of the natural sciences. Many simple everyday activities such as turning on and off lights, swimming, walking, and sports, as well as more complex ones such as rocket launches, nuclear power plants, and nanotechnology, are based on the principles of physics. It is also used in many areas, including cancer treatment and renewable energy systems, leading to discoveries that change our lives. Our students learn the basic principles of physics, including mechanics, electricity, waves, energy, magnetism, astrophysics, and particle physics, using both theoretical and practical methods. As our students understand and apply the principles of physics, they become aware of the good and bad effects of science on people, society, and the environment. After learning the basic physics principles in the science classes of grades 6, 7, and 8, students can choose the IGCSE Physics program in grades 9 and 10 according to their preferences. For successful students at this level, our A-Level program is available in grades 11 and 12.Our Vision
Our vision is to inspire our students to become future scientists and engineers who can keep up with rapidly changing technology and can think critically and question scientific methods.
Our Goals and Values
- To ensure that students understand the basic principles of physics
- To develop their ability to interpret and expand their basic physics knowledge
- To enable students to connect what they learn in physics to their daily lives
- To facilitate permanent learning by enabling students to learn by doing and experiencing during laboratory lessons
- To encourage students to generate new ideas using the knowledge, skills, and competencies they acquire in physics class
- To create students who are curious, critical thinkers, collaborators, problem solvers, inquirers, producers, and who are willing to learn science throughout their lives.
