Psychological Counselling & Guidance
Our school's guidance service plays a vital role in providing educational, vocational, and personal guidance to our students. We prioritize collaboration between families, teachers, administrators, and the guidance service itself to address challenges students may face. Our ultimate goal is to support students in their journey towards happiness and provide a safe counseling resource whenever they encounter difficulties, allowing them to focus on their studies and work efficiently.
Our dedicated guidance teachers in grades 6 to 8 cover various topics during relevant class hours to promote academic and social awareness among students. They also closely observe students, fostering a bond that encourages students to seek special sessions and support from our guidance counselors. Students are aware that they can rely on guidance services during their transition to high school and throughout their high school years.
Our guidance service attends to the student-teacher relationship, the student-parent relationship, and the emotional well-being of each student. We place particular emphasis on addressing issues such as bullying, interpersonal communication difficulties, empathy, and effective study methods. Our committed teachers stay updated with academic publications and innovations to provide a healthier upbringing for our students.
Individual sessions, with the consent of the student and within their approved limits, may be shared with parents or relevant individuals within the school. Each year, we send parent/student profile forms to gather a deeper understanding of our students, ensuring the confidentiality of the information provided. These forms enable us to obtain more detailed information about our students' psychological and social situations, which, if necessary, can be shared with their teachers.
The Levent College Guidance Service and the Levent Primary School Guidance Service work collaboratively. Students or parents seeking assistance from the guidance service can schedule appointments for private sessions in a dedicated room.
